Cancellation/Returns Policy

If you wish to cancel or amend your order please contacts us immediately, if the order has already been sent then you will need to follow the return procedure below.

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. If you would like to return an unwanted item you will need to send confirmation to us in writing (email or post) within 7 days of receipt. You will then need to return the item, as new and in original packaging within seven days of notification. The cost of returning an unwanted item is borne by the customer, this does not affect any goods that may be faulty.

Once the item is received and agreed in new condition a refund will be issued.

Shipping

If you place your order before 1pm we will endeavour to despatch the same day either by Royal Mail or another reputable courier depending on size.

Standard delivery is estimated between 3-7 days, although most orders are received earlier.

European Delivery is estimated between 5-10 working days.

Worldwide Delivery is estimated between 7-14 working days.

Next Working Day Delivery can be arranged if ordered before 12pm, please call for details and pricing.

Age Verification FAQ

It is illegal for us to sell knives or crossbows to anyone under 18 years of age.
It is our duty to verify your age before an order is despatched we will do this in two ways:
A check to see if your name is on the public version of the Electoral Roll at either your billing or delivery address. If it is then your order will be processed and dispatched.
If your name is not listed we will we will contact you by e-mail asking you to send us a scanned copy of any official ID which shows your name, address and date of birth, below are acceptable proofs of age:
Driving Licence
Passport
Birth Certificate
Medical insurance card or hospital letter.
These should be emailed to sales@silco.co.uk with your order number in the subject.
 
To ensure that your order is dealt with swiftly please ensure that you provide us with your full name and the address that your payment card is registered to. An alternative delivery address can be entered at the checkout.

Any scans are deleted as soon as the information has been processed and no copies are kept.

If you cannot send any proof of age your order will be cancelled and refunded after 14 days.

We will only request proof of age once and we will update your customer account so that no further age checks will be required. If a customer logs into a new account then it is possible that they will be asked to provide proof of age again.
 
Please make sure that you check your e-mails including junk mail folder when you have placed your order because if you do not reply your order may be delayed and/or cancelled and refunded.
 
Since 2002, there have been two versions of the Electoral Roll available. The full (private) Electoral Roll which is restricted and the edited (public) Electoral Roll which is available to businesses for identity checks.

It is possible to opt out of the edited Electoral Roll by means of ticking a box on the Electoral roll form. Once you have opted out then your listing will not be seen by businesses like us who use the Electoral Roll for identity checks. We can only view the edited version. If this is the case, we will need to see additional proof of age before we can process your order.
